Video calling

Via the iOS (iPhone and iPad) Luscii app, it is possible to video call patients. Note that this is not possible via the Android app as a healthcare provider (it is possible as a patient). As a healthcare provider, you can install the Luscii app and log in with the same credentials as on the web application.

Follow these steps for a successful video call:

1. Install and log in:

  • Install the Luscii app on your iOS device.
  • Log in with the same credentials as on the web application.

2. First-time video call:

  • During the first video call, permission will be requested for the camera and microphone. This occurs during the call.
  • Luscii recommends performing a test call with a demo account first to ensure everything works.

3. Check permissions:

  • If you have no video and/or audio, something may be incorrect in the app permissions.
  • Open the 'Settings' app on your phone.
  • Scroll down and select 'Luscii' or search for it at the top.
  • Make sure 'Microphone' and 'Camera' are enabled.

By following these steps, healthcare providers can effectively video call patients via the Luscii app on iOS devices.
