How do I connect my iHealth Air oximeter?

Follow the steps below to connect your iHealth Air pulse oximeter in the Thuismeten app.

1. Charging the pulse oximeter:

Before first use, fully charge the pulse oximeter with the supplied USB cable.
Wait until the battery icon stops flashing (this takes about 3 hours) and then remove the USB cable from the pulse oximeter.

2. Bluetooth access:

Make sure you have granted the Thuismeten app access to Bluetooth. Follow these instructions to do so.

3. Switching on Bluetooth:

Make sure Bluetooth is switched on on your smartphone or tablet. Follow these instructions to do so.

4. Opening the Thuismeten app:

Open the Thuismeten app.
At the bottom of the Thuismeten app, go to the ‘Home’ or ‘Self-care’ page and start an oxygen saturation measurement by selecting ‘Oxygen saturation’.

5. Connecting the Thuismeten app to the pulse oximeter:

Press the round button on the pulse oximeter to connect.
The device is connected when the Bluetooth icon appears and stops flashing.
Once pairing is complete, you can take an oxygen saturation measurement.

Not connecting? Here are some tips:

Switch Bluetooth off and on: Swipe up from the bottom of the screen to open the control panel. Tap the Bluetooth icon to switch Bluetooth off, and tap again to switch it back on. Then press the button on the pulse oximeter.
Close other apps: Close all other open apps and reopen the Thuismeten app. Press the button on the pulse oximeter.
Restart the app: Restart the Thuismeten app by pressing the home button twice and swiping the app up. Open the app again and press the button on the pulse oximeter.
Move other devices away: Move away any other devices that use Bluetooth. Press the button on the pulse oximeter.
Reset the pulse oximeter: Reset the pulse oximeter by holding the button down for 8 seconds.
