If I open an existing patient via HiX, I can only create a new account.

When you open an existing patient via the external activity definition, you have two options when the registration screen opens instead of the patient:

1. Link to Existing Account:

  • When to use: There is currently no active link.

  • Action: Link the HiX record to the patient’s Luscii account.

2. Create New Account:

  • When to use:

    • No account is known in Luscii.

    • As a healthcare provider, you do not have access to the group where the patient’s existing account is located.

  • Action: Create a new account for the patient in Luscii if no account is known.

  • Note: If you do not have access to the group of the existing account, ask an organisation administrator for access to the specific group.
