My blood pressure monitor reads an error

If you see an error popping up on the screen of your blood pressure monitor, this can mean multiple things. See below what the E on your screen means.

Error 'E1'
The cuff of the blood pressure monitor isn't put on tight enough. Please try it again, a bit tighter. Also check if the air hose is connected correctly.

Error 'Er 0'
Unstable air pressure. Try to measure your blood pressure again and do not talk or move during the measurement.

Error 'E2'
Movement has been detected. Try to sit as still as possible whilst taking a measurement.

Error 'Er 1'
No systolic blood pressure detected. Try to measure your blood pressure again and do not talk or move during the measurement.

Error 'E4'
Movement or talking has been detected. Try to sit as still as possible whilst taking a measurement.

Error 'Er 2'
No diastolic blood pressure detected. Try to measure your blood pressure again and do not talk or move during the measurement.

Error 'E5'
The blood pressure monitor notifies you that your clothes are blocking the measurement. Remove the clothing that is between your arm and the cuff and try to do the measurement again.

Error 'Er 3'
The strap of the blood pressure monitor is too tight on your arm or the tube is pinched. Loosen the strap, check the tube and try to measure your blood pressure again.

Error 'Er'
The blood pressure monitor should probably be replaced. Please contact the Luscii support heroes via: support@luscii.com.

Error 'Er 4'
The strap of the blood pressure monitor is too loose on your arm or the tube is leaky. Tighten the band, check the tube and try to measure your blood pressure again.

 

Error 'Er 5'
The pressure in the blood pressure monitor band is higher than 300 mmHg. Wait five minutes and then try taking your blood pressure again.

Error 'Er 6'
The pressure in the blood pressure monitor band has exceeded 15 mmMg for more than three minutes. Wait five minutes and then try taking your blood pressure again.

Error 'Er 7'
EEPROM access violation. Wait five minutes and then try taking your blood pressure again.

Error 'Er 8'
Error checking blood pressure monitor settings. Wait five minutes and then try taking your blood pressure again.

Error 'Er A'
Error measuring air pressure. Wait five minutes and then try taking your blood pressure again.
